Dog training sessions typically focus on teaching dogs obedience, good manners, and specific skills using positive reinforcement techniques. Sessions can be tailored to each individual dog- depending on breed, age, temperament, and the goals of the owner.

Depending on the sessions goals, a break down of the sessions would look like the following:

1- Assessment & Goal Setting

-Evaluation of the dog (temperament & understanding of the dog)

- Discussion about the goals and objectives the owner is looking to achieve (what are you wanting your pup to achieve)

2- Basic Obedience Training

- Teaching of fundamental commands ( examples: sit, stay, down, come, heel, leave it)

- Use of treats and praise would be used as rewards to reinforce good behavior

3- Behavior Modification (as needed)

- Evaluation of what behaviors need to be changed( jumping, barking, biting, or leash pulling)

- Implementing ways to redirect these behaviors for the dog, and teaching skills to the owner to help maintain consistency in this redirection

4 - Leash & Socialization Training

- Helping the dog walk on the leash without pulling

- May introduce the dog to new environments, people, and other animals in a controlled matter ( if needed)

5 - Advanced Training ( if previous skills accomplished)

- Off Leash obedience, agility, other specific skills

- Training for therapy, service, or working dog skills

6- Owner Education

- Once we have the dog achieving the goals & objectives, now comes teaching the owner ways to maintain these skills

- Help to provide daily exercises and routines to keep these skills enforced

7- Review & Looking Forward

- Evaluate the sessions progress.

- If needed, plan for future sessions based on where the dogs behavior and skills are sitting based on the previous steps.
